The ninth edition of the Likhang HABI Market Fair will be held from October 11 to 13, 2019, at Glorietta 3 in Makati City.

With the theme “The Highlights of Our HABI Journey,” the fair will feature a HABI Craft Corner that lets visitors learn the basics of weaving using different local fibers and create their own woven products. A total of fifty-two merchants from all over the Philippines will also showcase traditional textiles, like the habol negrense from Negros Occidental, yakan from Basilan, and abel from Ilocos—all to be marketed as raw material or as finished products, like handwoven bags from Coco and Tres and shoes from Lakat Sustainables.
